In early December 2018 I will be going to Death Valley National Park to do some photography there.

May 2017 – One of my most popular images was licensed by St. Mary’s Health System for the cover of their annual report.

November 2016 – One of my Lewiston City Hall photos was licensed for the cover of the Lewiston-Auburn EZToUse phone directory.

June 2016 – Five of my photos have been selected for the new Veteran’s Center at the Andrews Air Force Base in Bethesda, Maryland.

May 2015 – The AP picked up one of my photos to go with a story they did about Benedict Arnold’s expedition up the Kennebec River.

This July I will be in Perce, Canada at the tip of the Gaspe Peninsula to photograph the Gannet breeding colony on Bonaventure Island.

In October 2015 I will be spending a weekend in Vermont photographing waterfalls in the Hancock area.

In October of 2014 I’ll be attending a workshop in the Poconos, focusing on waterfalls and autumn foliage.

November 2011 – I shot an article on Clydesdale Horses as a cover story for Lewiston-Auburn Magazine.

February 2011 – I shot an article on Dave Footer for Lewiston-Auburn Magazine. It included this image for the cover.

November 2010 – Autum Color on Stetson Brook published in spring issue of Nature Photographer Magazine.

October 2010 – Lewiston Auburn Magazine asked us to do a photo essay showing L/A as seen from the Androscoggin River. Jonathan Labonte added some text about the river and the history of it’s mills.

October 2010 – One photo, Winter Sentinel, was selected for the L/A Arts Gallery5 exhibit, “Whiteout”.

August 2010 – We were chosen to photograph the cover story about Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary for the 3rd issue of Lewiston Auburn Magazine. In addition to the cover and title page photos, We also supplied several bird photos for that story, as well as several photos for a story about a hot air balloon ride.

July 2010 – One photo, ” Glorious Morning”, selected for L/A Arts juried exhibit at Gallery 5. The theme for this exhibit is “Colors of Hope”. The show will be open from August 27 – October 9.

July 17, 2010 – Awarded two 2nd place ribbons in a photo competition sponsored by the Turner Natural History Society.
My Oriole photo took 2nd in the Birds category, and Sunrise on Marshall Pond took 2nd in the Landscape category.

June 2010 – I have three photos in the new issue of Lewiston Auburn Magazine, which is out today. They accompany the story on the local church buildings for sale. Check it out, and subscribe if you haven’t… help make the magazine a big success.

June 2010 – One photo, “Bloodstar”, was selected for the L/A Arts Gallery5 exhibit, “In Contrast”.

April 2010 – I was asked by Joshua Shea, publisher of the new Lewiston Auburn Magazine, to shoot the cover photo for the premier issue. This is my first cover, and a special honor, since the cover features former Lewiston and Auburn mayor John Jenkins. The issue also featured a photo essay of some of my spring nature photos.

March 2010 – Lady’s Slipper published in spring issue of Nature Photographer Magazine.

April 1, 2010 – I’ll be headed to the Lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas to see and photograph some of the local bird life, some of which can be seen nowhere else in North America. Check bac around May for some of the results.

August 22, 2009 – I will be exhibiting at this summer’s WCSH Portland Sidewalk Art Festival on Congress Street in Portland.

March 2009 – Apple Blossom Photo published in spring issue of Nature Photographer Magazine.

February 2009 – One photo, “Sunrise on Marshall Pond“, selected for the juried Maine Photography Show, held in Boothbay. This is the most prestigious photography event in the state. For this show, 100 works were chosen from close to 500 entries submitted by some 200 photographers. The show will be open from April 18 to May 3 at the Boothbay Region Art Foundation Gallery.

February 2009 – three photos included in L/A Arts’ “Up Close & Personal” show. “Franklin“,
A Leaf Cries” and “On the Edge“.

January 2009 – One photo, “Morning on Moxie Lake” selected for the juried exhibit, Area Artists 2009, at the University of Southern Maine’s Atrium Gallery in Lewiston.

December 2008 – Stetson Brook photo published in winter issue of Nature Photographer Magazine

December 2008 – Two photos selected for the Gallery 5 Holiday show, “Sunrise on Marshal Pond”, and “Reflections, Perkins Cove”. Also two photos of Loons selected for L/A Arts’ Community Gallery: “The Look” and “Solitude”.

July, 2008 – I will be having a showing of my photos in July at the Beeaker Gallry in the Womans Pavillion of St. Mary’s Hospital. The theme for the show’s images is “The Colors & Patterns of Nature”. The show will run from July 12 thru August 10.

May, 2008 – My first photograph published in a national magazine. “Sunrise on Marshall Pond” was printed in the summer issue of Nature Photographer Magazine.

April, 2008 – One photo, ” Along the Edge “, selected for L/A Arts juried exhibit at Gallery 5. The theme for this exhibit is “Sands of Time”. The show will be open from April 16 to May 24.

March, 2008 – One photo, ” Baltimore Oriole “, submitted to the photo competition of the Maine Sportmens Show, at the August Civic Center, took Best Of Show. Categories in the competition included birds, mammals, other animals, landscapes, macros, and outdoor activities.

March, 2008 – One photo, ” Blinded by The Light “, selected for the juried Maine Photography Show, held in Boothbay. This is the most prestigious photography event in the state. For this show, 100 works were chosen from close to 500 entries submitted by some 200 photographers. The show will be open from May 9 to May 25 at the Boothbay Town Hall.

January, 2008 – One photo, ” Reflections “, selected for L/A Arts juried exhibit at Gallery 5. The theme for this exhibit was “GPS”.

November, 2007 – Two photos, ” Scarlet Tanager “, and ” Spring Field “, selected for L/A Arts juried exhibit at Gallery 5. The theme for this holiday Exhibit was “Red and Green”.

August, 2007 – Two photos, ” Jasper Beach “, and ” Blinded by the Light “, selected for L/A Arts juried exhibit at Gallery 5 in Lewiston. The theme of this show is “On The Rocks”. Dan’s photo was chosen to use on publicity materials for the show.

April, 2007 – One photo, ” Goldenrod “, selected for the juried Maine Photography Show, held in Boothbay. This is the most prestigious photography event in the state. For this show, 100 works were chosen from close to 400 entries submitted by some 200 photographers.
